This is a very very good suspense/thriller/mystery--once you start it you won't be able to put it down, it is well written and will keep you up all night just to finish it. Don't pass this one by!
This is one of the best books that I have read in a while. I wanted to read it all night long until finished. It seems to grab you and not let go. I have ordered all the books this author wrote. Wish there were more. Great read.
I hardly know where to begin with the PRAISES for this wonderful book written by Chris Carter! I had it sitting for a while on my shelf and now I am kicking myself for not reading it sooner! This book was AMAZING!!!! I had read 2 of his other books and was not that impressed. This one is so exciting that he hit this one out of the park!!!!! I don't want to get into any details of the story as all one has to do is read the first few pages and you will be HOOKED! You won't want to put this book down. THESE are the types of books that were made for someone like me. If a book doesn't lure me in within the first 10 pages or so then I am not sure I will get any excitement from reading it. This book has it all and trust me you will not be disappointed once you read it. Reading a book like this you wonder where the heck the author came up with a storyline like this one......very unusual and once you read it you will know what I am talking about. If you get a chance to put your hands on a copy of this exceptional thriller make sure you grab it and don't let go till you read it thru to the end! WOW.....this book makes up for his other 2 that did not really impress me.

This was a definite gripping page-turner and not for the squeamish but I actually liked the first two books of the series better. As Hunter made discoveries, it was held back from the reader and made it extra difficult to solve who the murderer was until it was revealed at the end of the book.The reader did receive back information about Hunter when he was a child which was very interesting. I especially like the relationship between Hunter and his partner, Garcia, and how they watch each other's back. I also enjoyed the ending of the book and all the information about the murderer and why he committed the murders. I do look forward to reading the next book in the series and I highly recommend this series to those who like gritty thrillers.
