The first part of this book was really hard to read, it's pretty graphic and it scared the heck out of me. I read at night, late, and I kept hearing noises and generally freaking myself out. I almost gave up on it until the author delved into the investigation and court trial. I find all that legal stuff fascinating. The killer is pure evil, with no remorse and no soul. It was very well written, I think the first part could have been shorter, but it was very well done. I'd recommend this to other true crime fans - just make sure your doors are locked! ;)
