I always knew my parents were weird, but when they started talking about moving to a log cabin in some frozen wasteland, I really thought they'd lost it. That was even worse than the artists' colonies mom was always dragging us to. This time she wanted to go someplace "unspoiled." Unlivable was more like it. And who wanted to move again? Not me.

In the meantime, though, we were staying with my grandparents, and I'd even made some friends at school. Pretty soon it would be time for the sixth-grade sleepover, when they whole class would spend the night at the library. Little did I realize that I 'd have to drag my baby sister along... and that one crazy night would change things forever!
