This is the second book by this author that I have read and the first that I have read in the Comissaire Adamsberg series. The plot and the setting (Paris and the surrounding regions) is interesting, but the best thing about this author's books are the characters. They are so unusual and imaginative and yet believable. It makes you think that everyone you know must have more beneath the surface than you know. Wow! I can't wait to read more.
