This book is a great read and the first in a series.
This one just didn't do it for me. The story was front-loaded with unnecessary exposition and the plot weak.
A STRIKING PERFORMANCE... AN EAST-WEST-MAN-HUNT OF EXTRAORDINARY TENSION AND VIOLANCE, BY A MAN WHO UNDERSTANDS BOTH WEASTERN AND ORIENTAL MINDS
They were the darker side of the Samurai, merciless assassins bound by the blackest codes of honor and skilled in the deadliest martial arts, as lethal in the ways of love as in the rites of death.
The story of Nicholas Linnear, half-caucasian, half oriental, a man cauht between East and West between the sexual passions of a woman he can't forget and one he cant conrol, between a passt he cannot escape and a destiny he cannot avoid.
A sprawling, resotic thriller that swaings from postwar Japan to present-day New York in a relentless saga of violence and terror elaborately designed for the most savage vengeance of all.
