This book was really interesting but I was a bit disappointed by the ending because the murder mystery keeps building up and building up, yet what you think will happen doesn't. It just kinda ruined a lot. Though the ending was still good, it just wasn't as gripping as the rest of the book energy and tension wise.

There are a bunch of subtle clues through the book, so pay attention. You'll get them if you read carefully.

All in all though this was a good book. I just wish it was a bit more action packed at the end.

This is a fast paced book. I was able to read it in several hours. The author is new to me and I'm sure that I will look for more of his work.

I do have to admit that after I was finished reading it I did begin to question some things. But...the book was so intriguing that I only felt that way AFTER I finished reading it. Before that I was too caught up in the story line.

This made Creston Mapes appear on my favorite authors of all time list. He keeps us in suspense while also intermixing a bit of faith. I'd consider him a more respectable version of Harlan Coben. :)
