I found a copy of Caitlin Kittredge's Second Skin abandoned in our breakroom at work so I did what any self-respecting book lover would do and brought it home. :) It's the 3rd book in the Nocturne City series and my question is, Do I need to read the others before I read this one? All of them are WL books, so I'll never get the 1st two any time soon, but this one sounds really good. Any opinions?

i'm still waiting for the third (up to #3 on the WL), but i have read the first two.  given how the second one built on the first without any real recapping, i'd guess that you probably would need to read the first two before the third.

Hmm, that's what I was afraid of! I guess I'll hold off on it for awhile then.

ETA: Score!! My rockin' library system has all 3 books!! I've requested the first two books from them.
