Great reference book to make sure whatever you write is PC (politically correct, or in this case, non sexist). One of best investments ever made was the purchase of this book when I was working as a professional. Would not write anything professionaly without this book at my elbow. Computers can spell check and do some great things but not duplicate what this book does. If you are a serioius writer you'll want this book. Not only does it help to write in such a manner as not to draw criticism from those who might be seeking to find fault, it raises awareness on issues related to gender. I would highly recommend for anyone taking or teaching a women's studies class, law studies, grant writing, language, etc....
