I'm having a problem with my NC. It won't move from the home page. Nothing happens when I try to tap a book to read or go to my library. If I try to turn it off the box comes up that says to cancel or power it off. I tap power it off, but nothing happens then either. My Nc won't even go to black screen, despite not using it for hours. It just constantly stays on the home page. Any advice or ideas?

Have you tried charging it for several hours? Some ereaders will refuse to do things when they're really, really low so that they don't bottom out the battery. Which wouldn't be a good thing to do.

Also, some ereaders charge faster when you use a wall outlet rather than a USB plugged into a computer. Both will charge, one just will charge faster.

If you're sure it's got a full charge, then you might need to reboot. I don't have the instructions for that. But you should be able to web search for it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I let my NC run all the way down, then recharged it. It seems to work fine now, so I am no longer going through the dreaded Nook with-drawal syndrome.
