This is a cute book and brought laughs to the children I read it to. The book kept the students engaged. A boy gets a pet for his birthday but it isn't what he wanted and hopes to trade it. Through the course of the story and adventures that happen the boy decides he wants to keep the goldfish. I highly recommend this story for young children.
