Eleni Gage returns to Lia, a village in Greece where her father was born, and her grandmother murdered during World War II.
Eleni rebuilds the ruins of her namesakes home, as well as searches & discovers her family's tragic history.
Eleni left her successful career in New York City to discover adventures in Greece. She meets and makes friends with residents of Lia, meets often with them at the local gathering place and in their homes. In doing so, she learns about Greek folklore and much history of Greece, as well as her family. A great, interesting read.
