If you live in north central Florida, and ever make it into Gainesville, stop by the Haven Hospice Attic resale store on NW 8th Avenue between 6th and Main Streets. I am the "book man" there and have eight or nine bookcases of mysteries and thrillers on the sales floor.  I volunteer there about three days a week and am constantly adding more. Plus, we have lots of other bookcases filled with numerous other genres.

It is a great way to not only obtain inexpensive books for reading, but also for posting here. We sell 95% of our Mass Market and Premium paperbacks for $0.49, Trade paperbacks for $0.75 and hardbacks for $1.00.  The income from sales at the Attic store is used to recover medical costs for people who have used up their medical insurance or who don't have any to begin with. Haven Hospice, a non-profit which is also accredited, incurred over $1 million in unpaid medical expenses in 2014 helping those in this situation.
