Many of the books I have received just recently don't have enough tape on them. The paper wrapping on the books is so ripped the books are barely staying in the package, some have been damaged. Could easily been prevented by taping all the edges, corners, and around the book(s). I know packaging tape is expensive, but I did find some at the dollar store. Has anyone else noticed this? |

When I encounter this, I write a polite note to the sender in the mini-survey to let them know. I'd want that kind of feedback if my books were arriving in poor shape. |

I have received 5 packages in the last two weeks that were in various states of undress, from just a bit peeking through to letting it all hang out. LOL One manilla envelope containing 4 books was only taped at the flap and was completely open on one side with the books hanging out, I was amazed that the books were only a little scuffed and bent. I just sent a nice note also. Most of the senders were brand new members and appreciated the feedback. I know when I was new I didn't have a clue how to wrap a book or how tough on packages media mail can be, so probably didn't use enough tape myself. Now, since reading about 'mummy books' in the forums, I have to tell myself to step away from the tape.LOL |

I have been tempted to take a picture of the package, and e-mail it to them! |

I am amazed when I stand in line at the post office ( I do it alot) at the types of packages people bring in to mail. Some come in with open boxes expecting the post office workers to tape it up. And many have tried to put huge things in small boxes and then expect scotch tape to hold it all together. Funny for me; glad I don't work at the post office. |
