PM and let the other member know you are interested, maybe you can negotiate a deal.  Sometimes members find book damage while doing a final inspection before sending, and cancel if the book isn't postable.

ETA - is it possible to reply to a RC message, or is it basically 'one way' only?

When people decline your RC, you get their message enclosed in an email from PBS. It does not come to you as a PM. There is no way to respond to it, or know who it was that responded.

Does it show up in the transaction archive at all? I don't have RC's so I can't look at my own for the answer.
