Hi everyone,

I was just remembering today that one of my favorite books when I was younger was set during the Oregon Trail and that I found the time period and setting very interesting.  Does anyone have any novels set during the Oregon trail to recommend?

Thanks!

Have you tried doing the tagmash at Librarything? There appear to be lots of novels written during this time period.

To do a tagmash, follow the search tab from any LT page. Then look for the tag search box. Separate keywords that you want to combine with a comma.

There's one called Amanda, but it's juvenile lit.

Take a look at Western Passage by TJ Hansen. I loved it to bits, but it's mostly from a woman's POV.
