anyone tried this?  I've read some horrible reviews online, so if you have anything good, please share! My GYN just wrote me a script for it b/c I'm having such trouble finding something that works for me. Help!

I used the Nuvaring for awhile and it worked to control some really out of control bleeding, but seemed to give  me worse pms. Not terrible, just worse than normal. To be honest now I can't really remember why I switched to the pill, but it was about the same time I switched doctors a couple of years ago.

I tried it for about a month and lets just say it wasn't a good fit for me- literally. One of my good friends also tried it and found the same thing, it just wasnt very comfortable, I guess we never got the hang of it. Anyways, I now use Loesterin 24 and that works well to control cramping and such.

I used it for several months - still got migraines, so switched to Yaz.  I didn't notice I had it in except when my husband and I were, you know, so I took it out then (this was ok with my GYN.)  It was about the same as the pill for me, and I think it is as effective.  Yaz just gives me fewer headaches and helps me more with PMS and cramps, etc.  Good luck, whatever you decide to do!  Oh, and putting it in is kind of clumsy, but NOT painful, and neither is taking it out. And, you shouldn't feel it at all when you wear it.
