Does anyone know how to make these ? The round poofy ball type, not the crochet/knitted ones. All help is appreciated. Tried the web but cant locate any directions.

My mom used to make them. She'd save up the plastic mesh that garlic, shallots, etc. come in and she'd cut it into strips. Then she'd fold all of the strips up into that little poofy shape and use a soldering iron to melt/secure it all together in the middle. Later, we found a place that sold the heavy plastic mesh for some agricultural purpose and she made a bunch of them.
