I received a PM from Aimee today ... her Grandfather passed away this morning, quietly, peacefully and at home. His three daughters and Aimee are all there with her Grandmother and the other grandchild (another granddaughter) is on her way.

I know Aimee would appreciate receiving a PM from those so inclined to let her know you're thinking about her. Her grandfather sounded like quite a character ... and, being the only rooster in a henhouse of wife, daughters and granddaughters, I'm sure he was much loved and cherished!

Kelly, Thanks for letting us know. I have 2 Aimee's on my friend list. Do you have her state or last initial?

Not a problem, Kids. We are a compassionate, caring group with interests in each other's lives far beyond books ...

Genie, This is our HF Aimee (peculiarway) from Florida. ( http://peculiarway.paperbackswap.com/profile )

Genie, Im using Chrome. This "no linking" thing is a new problem. I wondered if a setting had gotten changed or something. It's happened twice now - both times on PBS.

Deb, I want to thank you so sincerely for your empathy! One can always count on you! wink

@Kelly, Some browsers can't handle the scripts needed to create the posting box interface. Safari is an example, which is why @Deb and I can't post live links when we use our iPads. (Well, we could, but we'd have to code them in HTML and, for me at least, that's too much trouble.)

I suspect you're having similar issues with Chrome. If you like Chrome, which is a nice lightweight browser - it loads fast - can you install Firefox or IE as a secondary browser? You could then use the secondary browser to visit PBS. (Or, you could just live without being able to provide live links. smiley)

If anyone wants the HTML code for linking, I'd be happy to provide it.
