I am looking for some information from the book Jack the ripper from Hell by Stewart P. Evans...not sure if I can ask about this here in this forum, so please advise me which forum would be best to post this.   I already checked and this copy is not available and not available through Amazon either.  If someone has a copy, I am requesting them to contact me.  I just need 2 bits of info from it.  Our library does not have this book either.  thought I take a chance here.  Thanks D.B

Because Jack the Ripper: Letters from Hell by Stewart P. Evans is wishlisted here, you're not allowed to ask for it other than adding it to your wishlist.  It is availabe as an ebook and in print form on other sites:

http://www.amazon.com/Jack-Ripper-Stewart-P-Evans/dp/075093770X

http://www.thehistorypress.co.uk/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?order=publication&dir=desc&q=jack+the+ripper+letters+from+hell

http://www.worldcat.org/title/jack-the-ripper-letters-from-hell/oclc/47119263/editions?editionsView=true&referer=br

In reading over your post again, I see you are not asking for the book just for info from the book.  In that case, in order to get the most people to see the post, you should post it in the Club Members Thoughts forum.  It gets the most traffic.  Good luck.

I don't the OP is asking for the book itself. She has questions about the book and would ask the person who has it to look them up for her. Can you verify that, Debbie?

Yes, that is right.  I didn't know the protocol about asking for some info.  I kept searching and found a copy from another sight, which should come in time to get the info that I needed.  I was not requesting a copy, just needed some questions answered from the book.  Thanks for the replies.

Would an interlibrary loan be possible? That might be a workable solution.

Good luck!

Questions About Paperbackswap Forum is mainly for questions about the site's functions, probably not going to get the traffic you are looking for. You could ask in the specific genre Forum that the book falls under or the CMT Forum. Just make it clear in the post you are not asking for the book, but someone with the book to answer a couple of questions.

Well. I happen to a Jack The Ripper fan and have not read that book.  I see that I can check out a Jack The Ripper book by a Stewart P Evans from my library on Kindle. I would be glad to do so but I'm not sure it's the same book. It doesn't have "from hell" in the title. It's called Jack The Ripper and the on the bottom is says Scotland Yard Investigates.

Also sending this in a PM.

eta: I'm not actually a "fan" of Jack the Ripper. That sounds bad. I mean that I like to read books about Jack The Ripper.

There's a copy at Google Books. Limited access, but maybe will answer your questions?

Here.
