I have an unpostable copy of a popular WL book.  Is it too much to ask for 2 orders from my shelf to include it as an unpostable?  It would help clear a few off my shelf and save me postage $$$.  I don't want to make anyone upset and want to get opinions before I do it!  Thanks for any advice you offer and please be kind...

And if anyone is interested,  the book is Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult and has some "clean" water damage on the last 50+ pages ( I mean clean because it was my water that spilled and I didn't catch it right away so I know what was spilled!)  If anyone is interested, send me a PM...

Can't hurt to try. If no one takes you up on it then you can reduce it to 1.  You just can't ask for 2 credits for a postable WL book or a credit for an unpostable one. But if you're offering a freebie, you can make the deal for 1, 2 or 3 books if you want.  Doesn't mean you'll get any takers but it's not against the rules.

You can offer any deal you want, as long as you don't ask more than one credit for one book, or ask for a credit for an unpostable book.

Sure... the only things that gets frowned on is when it goes the other way... people asking more than one credit for a book... such as trying to get two credits for a wishlisted book... however.. your deal would be giving them 2 books for 2 credits (entirely legal) and throwing the WL book as a freebie.  Win/Win for everyone.

Offers like this are most often done in the Book Bazaar forum. That is were we can showcase our shelves or offer deals. A lot of people also put it in their signature line so everywhere they post in the forums, people can see it. Some also put it in their profile in case someone looks at that when they hit their shelf through the FIFO system.

The site does ask that deal posts are kept to the Book Bazaar forum so that the other ones do not lose their purpose when they get overrun with deals. Make sure to read through the thread over there on how to use the Book Bazaar.

Welcome!
