Charity caine was the only surviving member of the crazy Caine clan, a family of outlaws, bak robbers, and horse thieves. She was no outlaw, though. Come spring, she was going to settle in town among civilized folks. But then lawman Jake Turlow showed up, looking for shelter. He was handsome, with a square jaw and broadly muscled shoulders that looked mightly tempting to touch. She couldn't help wanting to savor his masterful caresses and tantalizing words of love while they waited out the winter frost in each other's arms...

Charity Caine was the prettiest young woman Jake had ever seen and here she was in a desolate snowbound cabin all alone. And since the Oklahoma winters could last for months, he knew he had plenty of time to show his renegade hostess the tantalizing pleasures in loving a man of the law.
