That is very coo-wul!

In a previous life, I worked in downtown L.A. and often went to the main library (before it burned down in 1986). Not as ornate as the libraries shown at curiousexpeditions.org, but it was built  in 1926 and had lots of dark walnut everywhere, sky-high ceilings on the main floor, and 8-foot high paned windows that opened above window seats where you could sit and read. There was no better way to spend a lunch hour!
