I would have liked this book a lot more if the author had not been so obvious with her hatred of people with blonde hair & blue eyes. Another good plot line ruined by far left views.

A really enjoyable book that hooks the reader and keeps you reeled in. This is a mystery but not in the creepy, bloody sense. Like most Vicki Lane books, there are several thread unwinding at once - the current, the past and then the backstory. Recommended.
Old Wounds by Vivki Lane is one of my favorite books. In my mind, I was in the Appalachians when I was reading the book The characters are well drawn -- the become friends through the books of the series.Very, very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Fantastic! These get better and better, however I think the first one was teriffic!
