The Oldest Virgin in Oakdale is a cute and sweet read. It's light and doesn't require a lot focus to read. It's good for a quickie. Eleanor and Cole attended high school together. Eleanor tutored Cole so that he could have the grades needed to attain a scholarship. He broke her heart when he asked another girl to prom.

Twelve years later, Eleanor is the town vet and Cole moved away right out of high school. Cole come back to town on business but also with a secret agenda. He and Eleanor meet up again when he brings a stray into Eleanor's office. Only then does Eleanor acknowledge the fact that she never got over Cole and in fact still loves him.
