This is a *lovely* little book, filled with creative artwork and poignant true stories about the author's small flock of chickens. Having had pet chickens in the past, I know her characterizations of her chickens are spot on. When one gets to know chickens individually, one sees that they have personalities, feelings, emotions, joy of life, etc., etc., etc., just as we humans and our dogs and cats do. Even my husband--who isn't much of a reader--enjoyed this book immensely!

Very cute book about a women and her chickens. I bought this for my daughter who has 5 chickens. They are my grandchicks.
