Just curious, I listed a book earlier and was matched. After checking through, I found a tear on one of the pages that is approximately 1 inch long (never noticed it before). I PMed the condition of the book to the requestor and cancelled the request. But the requestor says she is okay with the condition, but I wanted to make sure are these tears allowed? If not, I'm just not going to trade it.

Thank you :)

I think the tear can be no more then 1 inch. so I think you are ok with sending it.

A tear less than 1 inch on the cover is okay, torn text pages are a no-no. No torn or chewed/gnawed pages yes, that does say "chewed/gnawed".  That means no pet-chewed (or human-chewed) books.

Torn page = unpostable.  Sorry, Andy.

You can always have them buddy the credit and do it outside the system.  People do that all the time with unpostables.

Hmm, that sounds like it could work. I'll probably just keep it out of the system. Thanks for the replies.
