I did enjoy finding a Regency set outside London for a change, and I always like the dark brooding heros . Four stars because everything wrapped up a bit too quickly and conveniently for my tastes!

Very good as are the majority of the books I've read by her. Samantha James has a rare talent for telling a thoroughly absorbing, romantic tale. I had forgotten I had this book and had just put down 2 books that I was unable to finish because they were crap, but I'm glad I had previously bought "One Moonlit Night" and put it away for later because it was just what I needed to save me from boring books. It kept my attention from beginning to end.
