For anybody who believes the Bush administration lied us into war, this book will give you plenty of ammo supporting that argument. This is a historical book. Thirty years from now I can see young college students scratching their heads wondering "Why did we invade Iraq exactly?" This book will explain it wonderfully. Somehow, through what sources I don't know, Suskind allows the reader to be a fly on the wall in the offices of Washington, D.C., as Cheney and Bush and Tenet discuss big questions of national security. I almost felt like I wanted to keep this book around for future reference, but thought more good would come from sharing with others. Expect to take your time reading this one.
