I've been surfing BC's site today, and I noticed this tidbit, which was posted on November 21 -

BC said he hopes there will be 10 books in "The Saxon Chronicles" but he has a feeling it might well be more!

Joy of Joys, Uhtred fans!  Sounds like we will be enjoying our beloved Uhtred for many years to come!

Just thought I'd pass on the news!  Yet another thing to be thankful for tomorrow.  :P

We know how much that means to you, Shelley....woo hoo! Kind of feels like you should write him a personal thank you note, for continuing to enable your addiction......   ;)

Colleen - Great idea!  Today, on Thanksgiving Day, I should write BC and tell him I'm thankful for him and his wonderful books!  He says as soon as he's done with the book he's currently writing, he's going to start the next Uhtred installment.  I hope the man writes like the wind!  Does he really need to sleep or take time off to eat Thanksgiving dinner?  LOL!

He has a wonderful thread on his web site of other books that he reads and his fans. All me need is more books to buy and add to our wish list. Most of them sound really good. www.bernardcornwell.com

Shelley, what fabulous news!! It would be great if he made Uhtred into his next "Sharpe" series; long and well-written. ;-)

So, how much stalking time did it take you to convince him of the need to keep the Uhtred coming?

:-D

Hurray!!  I was also hoping it might turn into another "Sharpe" type series.
