Hi all, sorry if this has been posted before. I saw the book 'monster in his eyes' and it looks good. However, the heroine is 18 which makes me think it's new adult but I don't know for sure. Has anyone read it and can give me an opinion? I've checked good reads, but it's filled with huge pictures of hot guys/pretty girls that are supposed to represent the heroine and hero and not much else. I also wanted to know if anyone has read mine by Aubrey dark, that also looks good. thanks!

I haven't read Mine but after looking at it I might have to get it some time. It does look good.

The Monster in His Eyes was great, I loved it. It does come across as a little New Adultish though if that's something you really don't care for. It was also from her pov so maybe that's why. The second...and last, Torture in Her Soul is from his pov I believe so maybe will not seem so NA. I actually just picked that one up so I'll be reading it soon.

I read Monster In His Eyes and Torture In Her Soul and really liked them both. The h was young but maybe only a little at the beginning did it seem like a NA book.

I read His and didn't like it at all. It was a dnf for me. I love dark romance books every now and then, and can take pretty much anything, but I couldn't handle the H and what he was/did. Don't want to give anything away but if you read the synopsis you may understand why I had a problem with it.

Well I read the synopsis of mine by Aubrey dark, which many people on good reads (the ones that didn't have huge pictures of pretty people) were saying it wasn't dark enough, but his is supposed to be better. I think I will give both a go. I really like the idea of dark books where the heroine gets kidnapped and can't find that many that aren't 100 page kindle books or new adult =( Thanks for your help! Also does anyone know why I don't always get email notifications about replies on watched topics? I get them on some, but not all.
