I read this to my first grade class this week, our theme in the Pearson program was finding a clever idea to solve a problem. However, the solution to this one involved 1. lying, 2. assuming your "opponent" is real dumb and 3. taking advantage of prior reputations of someone who did the real work for you. Of course, all of these thing are thing Americans do all of the time, and it's gotten us this far.
