Mary Monica Pulver also writes as Monica Ferris. She's a wonderful writing with an indefinable difference to her writing that I really like. This is 4th in the Peter Brichter series and one of the best. It involves an old farmhouse/ranch house/mansion and the interesting secrets it holds.
