Hello,
I was just wondering if someone can confirm the postage for a letter to the United Kingdom? I admit I've already used the US postal calculator. It said a letter was 98 cents. Just wanted to know if this is 100% correct?
Also, maybe dumb question, but do I have to go to the PO and buy specific stamps or can I just use the same stamps I've been using to mail my PBS books?
I haven't sent a letter internationally for quite some time and just wanted to make sure nothing goes wrong. I appreciate any who take the time to answer my questions.

To respond to your second question, there's no need to go to the post office to buy special stamps. As long as you have enough postage and the correct address, it should get there. I've mailed cards to Germany just by putting regular 44-cent stamps on them. (That's acutally more postage than is needed, but it was easier than going to the post office.) |

This is from the USPS website. The UK is in price group 3 - 5.
Sorry about the format, I had a bit of trouble copying and pasting. Last Edited on: 1/15/10 12:44 AM ET - Total times edited: 3 |
