I guess it's okay because we still don't have the other things planted but I am looking for a new barberry and since it quit snowing (okay it stopped a month or so ago), it might get warm some day. 

I'm checking out some other mailorder places and, of course, a lot of items are out of stock or they aren't shipping.  You know, I still had daffodils less than a week ago!  (Hawera). 

I've been wanting a Jap. painted fern for a long time and Park's had one that said it tolerated dry, and was zone 4, but it was expensive and I know they aren't a great source.  Hallson's is out of stock - well, next year, I guess :)
