Anyone heard of these? I came up with one of them on Sunday's book haul and it turns out a couple of pals are getting ready to read at least the first one. I believe this is the order,

1. Outback
2. Outback Station
3. Walkabout
4. Wallaby Track
5. Outback Legacy

Anyone interested and wants to join in the discussion (I think there are 4 or 5 of us now going to read it) and you're on Goodreads please join in.

This is one of my very favorite series.  I love reading about early Australia and New Zealand.  This author made me feel like I was actually there and I loved the story.  Usually in a series, I will get burned out on the author or get tired of the same area etc. . but not this series - I wanted it to go on and on.  Can you tell, I liked it. Enjoy.

Oh good. He's also got two set in New Zealand and I have the first of those. Quite a shocking cover actually, I grabbed it at the UBS just for that, not realizing this was a serious novel.

The Castaway (New Zealanders #1)

I think the Australia books of his are better than the New Zealand ones. IMHO.

I call those "good books with cheesy covers" look at that thing! Who would have thought it was a serious book?  It sounds like an interesting series.
