A typical fast-paced Cook thriller although I was often frustrated with the foolishness of the heroine's actions.

Starts out great, but kinda burns out before the end. Interesting premise, though.

I almost didn't read this book because I saw the movie, but this book has nothing to do with the movie. It was so good, I read it in two days. If you love Robin Cook, this is a must read.

A gripping medical drama that focuses on outbreaks of Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever, a deadly virus. Dr. Melissa Blumenthal, a Centers for Disease Control investigator, is thrust into the center of each seemingly unrelated outbreak. She slowly unravels the mystery of the virus and the conspiracy of doctors behind the growing crisis.

This was the first Robin Cook thriller I've read, but I blazed through it and was hunting for another one from my TBR piles. The book may have been written a couple of decades ago but the subject is still relevant, and Mr. Cook's writing style is descriptive but smooth and coherent. I was delighted to find (somewhere) I have about ten books to look forward to!

I really liked this book. I think it is a little slow starting but wow once it starts you'll never want to put it down. This is the first Robin Cook book I've read and I can't wait to read another, it's that good.
