I could swear I already posted this today, but it seems to be gone. Coming March 3rd. 

It's not exactly season one.  It's Season One, Volume One (the first half of Season One).   The rest of Season One will be shown on Starz in April & May.

Not sure if there will be a DVD with ALL of Season One eventually or not.   Some say that there won't, because Ron Moore (the producer) did the DVD's for Battlestar Gallactica the same way (with divided seasons).

It will be great for that purpose Cathy.  And the blu-ray version comes with some extra goodies.

Lol, I don't even own a DVD player for the huge plasma I nabbed from Amazon Vine - don't watch enough telly. I have a very nice large monitor at the desk top and just pop the DVD into the hard drive and watch the occasional movie that way. After Judge Judy and a bit of news and Food Network, I'm pretty much glued to books.

I am #1 on the wait list @ the library for it.  Woo hoo!

The first episode of Outlander is available for free on Amazon Prime.

I've been watching the first 4 episodes of Outlander with DH.  Really very well done!  Now I just have to wait for the next disc to arrive from Netflix.
