A wonderful, scientifically sound resource for people dealing with dyslexia in varying age groups. I didn't agree with all of the author's points (she believes parents should not be their child's primary educator which I completely disagree with), but her systematic approach of tackling dyslexia is reasonable, practical and hopeful. I started out by borrowing this book from the library and soon realized I needed to own a copy. I often refer back to it as questions arise. An invaluable resource.

The BEST book on dyslexia/reading disabilities by far. It covers everything you could need to know, based on peer-reviewed research. Despite teaching students with reading disabilities for 13 years and having a child of my own with dyslexia, I found something new in every chapter.
