This is the main book for Overeaters' Anonymous. It has the 12 steps and 12 Traditions that have been adapted for OA from AA.

Included in this book are many short letters, or essays, from members of OA--some about their success, some about their difficulties, but none about their failures, as all of the authors have come back to the program because they realize its worth and because they do not want to return to their lives before joining the program.

For a newcomer to OA, this is a wonderful and informative collection of information about the OA program

I have moved beyond what OA has to offer (see settingcaptivesfree.com), but what OA has to offer was an important step in my healing, and I am thankful for the organization and the truths of OA's own "little brown book."
