Is there a way to pm yourself?

Yes. If you add yourself to your buddy list, you can send yourself a PM.

I do this all the time.  It's the only way I can keep notes to myself on PBS related info.  I love it.

i'm just curious... why might one want to buddy oneself?  i haven't yet explored the 'buddying' aspect of PBS - mainly because I only got my first buddy request the other day :)

I buddied myself so that I could send msgs to myself. I use that and the archive feature for PMs to keep track of all kinds of things. It's a great reminder place for things I might otherwise forget or lose. I also test things in PMs to myself, as I use html in my PMs to create bolding, italics, linkable links, I check to make sure something new that I might do works or looks right before I send it to anyone else. I've used html to create bulleted or numbered lists, without having to add the bullets or numbers (like you can in posts, but can't in PMs) but you can if you know how to use HTML right. But, sometimes I want to make sure it looks right, and sometimes, it was a good thing I sent it to myself because it needed some tweaking here or there.

But, other than HTML, I have lots of reminders to myself about lots of things that I have sent to myself, in my archived PMs, and this is only doable when first making yourself your buddy :)

Yup, all my PMs to myself are tagged "info for me" and I just filter to that when I need to get the information I PMed to myself.

Adrienne, are you talking about  Games? If so, I have a handy swapper tracker spreadsheet that I devised 3 years ago that is very helpful. If you know excel, send me a PM

with your email and I will send you a template.

Thanks for the offer Kathy, however I know absolutely nothing about excel.  I am not the most computer literate person, lol.

Huh. I never would've thought of using myself as a testing ground.  But now I think I will, so thanks for the idea :)
