I mailed some books on Monday (actually my mom mailed them for me since i was at work) and on my receipt from the PO, they obviously scanned the books so I was only charged the 18 cents for DC. However, my two credits (it was a deal and the person had ordered 2 books from my shelf) haven't shown up in my credit registry. When I put the DC number in on the usps.com website, it says the information was received (or something simliar to that). So my question is this---what happens if there isn't any other activity until the person gets the books? Will I only get my credits when the person marks them received?
This is the first time this has ever happend to me, Every other time I've used PBS DC, I always got my credits fairly quickly (because I take my books to the PO and have to have them scanned to pay the postage). |

Sometimes it takes a day or two for PBS to get the information from the PO. It's a post office thing not a PBS thing. They get updates as certain times from the PO and if the PO is behind then it can take awhile sometimes. |

This can be a common problem. If you only bought the PBS DC then until it is scanned somewhere along the line - you will have to wait. The USPS is only required to scan it at the end destination - so until it is you wait. If you bought PBS postage and PBS DC then you should have gotten the credit upon marking the books mailed.
