Does PBS DC work if the books ends up being mailed first class from the post office?

I have a book with printed DC and once I got it wrapped I realized it's light enough and would be cheaper to mail it first class, but I'm not sure if the DC works with first class. I know some shipping methods don't allow any DC at all, so I just was checking to see if any of you knew if it would work with first class?

Thanks! HAPPY FRIDAY :)

As long as the package is at least 3/4" thick, you can use delivery confirmation. Anything under 3/4" can't be sent by first class with delivery confirmation, although I think I've sent a couple of books that were 1/2" or so and didn't have a problem. (They were probably close to 3/4" after adding the wrapping and tape.) Some people have suggested using a packing peanut or something like that to bulk up the package if it's too thin.
