I ordered 2 books. The shipment email listed both. Today I received only one. The bummer is the missing book was meant to be a gift and I did order it well in advance. Had it come today with the other book it would have come in time. Too much slips up here these days.

I've used the 'contact us' button to ask after the missing book but just needed a place to vent.

Thanks for listening.

I have only actually ordered once from the marketplace and it took a full month for the book to arrive. Other times I have looked to buy multiples to save on shipping but no such luck. If they ship from different warehouses ( and you have no way to know or filter) you get no shipping discount. My guess the books were coming from different warehouses. Look and see if you got discounted shipping or were charged full shipping 2 times.

There is actually an email to just use for the market. Should be responded to quicker than the PBS Feedback.

The Market is actually several booksellars, not PBS. Please do report slow shipments and problems.

Thanks, Emily, for the email addy.

I finally got a response from PBS.  I ordered on the 10th, it's 16 days later and the other book has yet to shipped. I probably won't be ordering from PBS Market again. The service was far better in the past, on the rare occasions I could afford to buy books I felt I should support the site. Now I'd rather buy used books on amazon and at least receive my purchase in a timely fashion.

I thought there was a way to go the amazon from the pbs site and that does something to help the pbs site. Maybe they don't do that anymore.

here it is.

Charles, I always go to amazon via the button on PBS, but surely the site earns more through PBS Market. Still it's bad service here now, I'll revert to the button only in future.

I ordered two complete Manga sets from the PBS market. I wanted them as they both came in Art Boxes for display  - one was a 13 volume set "Death Note" and the other was a 20+ volume set "Bakuman" - both were shipped in one box that came from Suwanee GA - took 2 weeks via Media Mail. I want to think that expedited service was available (more $$), but I was happy with the price and delivery - it was much better than what was available on the Amazon site (at least for that time).

Usually I order from Amazon because those items managed and shipped by Amazon has free shipping after a $25+ order. Not all books on Amazon are shipped by Amazon and are from other vendors & usually have a $3.99/per book S/H fee.
