I pay the extra to support the club, as well as provide my trading partners with tracking so that they can know that I mailed their book(s), as well as know when to expect it. Books I sent out already have 4-5 scans on them, if I go over to the USPS Tracking site...however, here on PBS, when I click Details on the printable postage I bought, there are no updates, not even acceptance by USPS! Why isn't endicia or whoever PBS contraccts with for electronic postage providing the tracking details? I feel that I am paying for this, after all.

Sometimes there are glitches in the PO system that provides scan records to subscribers. If you go to the bottom of this page and click on Contact Us, you can use the Send Feedback button to ask the site admins to look into it. |

Oftentimes I only see the tracking routes when I c& p the tracking number into the usps site..I wonder why it doesn't show up here. . |

I've noticed more than once that if I select a later Will Mail By date, but mail the book sooner, tracking details won't show up on PBS until the date I chose has passed, despite the data being available sooner on USPS. Could that be happening for you? |

@sinistersarah, interesting, I never thought about Mail By date having anything to do with tracking. I have 7 books that I sent out to 3 different members right now, and none of them have updated tracking being sent back to here......but maybe you are right. The Will Mail By date I selected was today.......I will look to see if the tracking starts to update now. Except, the books will probably already be in the hands of their new owners by the time that happens. Thanks for that little gem of wisdom..... I have found that many times the tracking information on PBS is a couple of scans (days) behind what you can see on USPS. |

It isn't the mail by date, it is the date you select to be on the label. I can select a later mail by date to give myself wiggle room. But I have to carefully select the label date. The default is the last possible date. You need to manually select the actual date. Or else the tracking is hidden until the date passes. |

Hi Emily, Okay, well, it's NOT the date I selected to be on the label. That date has come and gone, and no updates are being transmitted back to the site here under "details".
So, looks like Lavonne is correct......the tracking updates are delayed by several days when using PBS electronic postage unless you leave here and go to the USPS site to see where the book is.

That I'd report to PBS. They need to know if Encidia is not behaving. Oh. Bottom right of the page under Company, then Contact Us, then Send Us Feedback. Please don't send this to Live Help or the Tour Guides. We are members without any control over the postage provider. Only PBS has the contact with the postage provider reps.
