I was sent a book with DC pre-printed postage on it on Sept. 25. The DETAILS even this morning, still show that the sender printed postage on Sept. 25th and nothing else! Book was delivered on Saturday Sept. 27th. I then copied the DC number and pasted it in over on the USPS website and their information shows all the tracking information including that it was delivered on the correct day. Why has PBS not updated all the tracking information? I notified the sender in case she didn't automatically get her PBS credit when it shows it's been scanned, because as far as she knew it was still in her city waiting to be scanned. I didn't think that it was very fair that she could have still been waiting to receive this credit and this book was already delivered 4 days ago. |

I am not sure what you are asking. It is up to the requestor to mark the book received, not the site. The site only shows when a book is scanned, not when it is delivered. |

I've also noticed that the tracking information hasn't been updated on the details page. I hadn't thought to check the usps site though... |

I'm having the same problem, both with books I've sent out and custom DC. Several items I mailed on 9/22 have been received but the system still shows them printed and nothing more. |

The DC systems have been a mess for a couple of weeks. Sounds like a USPS maintenance issue, not a PBS issue. That said, hopefully the OP marked the book received as they are supposed to and the sender got their credit at that time. The presence of DC never negates the requirement to mark a book received when you get i. |

I'm not sure either why you're trackign a book you already received. The sender will get their credit when you mark it received if they didn't get it already. Sometimes books with DC never get scanned. IF a book comes with DC on it you still have to mark it received. The system doesn't automatically do that. It just ensures the credit if DC is purchased through PBS and the book goes lost. Books with DC on them can still go lost. I have one that went lost in Aug. that had DC on it. All it's ever said is the date the DC was purchased. So the sender got their credit, I got my credit back but I never got the book. It's possible that they didn't send it, just paid for DC. They're in Louisianna so I just assumed the weather held it up. I might reorder it now that it's been lost for 2months. |
