are in appropriate condition as set by PBS! In the past month I have received two books that were literally falling apart, had water damage...I understand that this is a 'used' book forum but that doesn't mean that you send 

books that are damaged, falling apart...do you want to receive a book in that condition? So far (and greatly appreciated), credits have been returned, but now I've got to wait for those books to come available, again.

Well, you are preaching to the choir.

Most PBS members do not use the forums at all.

And the ones that do, are the members who are most likely to know the rules and be following them, as well as helping others understand them fully.

It's just that I am not sure your intended audience will see your message. Believe me, I'd be happy if I never received a RWAP too.

Eve - I'm always surprised  at the number of long time members (some since 2006-2007) who've never posted a comment in the forums.  I've, personally, gotten lots of great information on the forums but also realize that some people don't have time to read forums, but think they should at least know the rules and follow them.  Pat

I feel your pain...we all hate getting those unpostables that have been posted into the system as meeting the postability guidelines. The best and really only way to make your voice heard is to RWAP those books and hope that the members continue to return your credits and hopefully, learn their lesson. Unfortunately, there are many members who either never bothered to learn the rules or somehow think they don't apply to them, especially when they "got the book that way"! Nobody wants to RWAP a book but if we don't let other members know that their books are in unacceptable condition, they will continue to send them. Getting off my soapbox now...

Vent away Eve, we understand your frustration.  Sara's post is not harsh, but she is correct about PBS membership.
