My spidey sense told me to go to the Dollar Tree today, and while I was in line saw the woman behind me was buying a romance novel! Turned out they had some historicals (mostly of the crappier kind) and some paranormal authors I had actually heard of! I picked up two books by Marjorie Liu and, by a miracle,  managed not to rebuy the ones I already had TBR. :-) $1 for a brand new book does not suck.

Don't know if this applies to other stores in the chain, but check it out if you have one nearby. I'm tempted now to go to the other store in our area and see what they have. :-)

I have found some of those at Dollar General for $1.25. They've also had Lynsay Sands and Katie MacAlister historicals.

We don't have a Dollar Tree near me, but I love spidey sense. Sometimes it's stronger than me and usually works out. It's stronger than me that urge.....

Finally made it out to the other store and they had very little left, but I did get another Marjorie Liu, which again miraculously I didn't already have. Hope I wind up actually liking those. :-\

The Dollar Tree near me (in upstate NY) had Lynsay Sands & Kate MacAlister books - and a bunch of paranormals.   Must be a chain-wide event...

My Dollar Tree never has good books, but I did find some great Yoga pants on the clearance rack for 80 cents.  I bought all they had and gave them to my co-workers.

Dollar Tree stores are really weird.  We have two in my town and neither have all the same items.  I know which store to go to get some things I buy on a regular basis.  But, I wonder why different stores have different items when they are all part of a chain.

Guess what I found there yesterday? Our old friend Rabbit Heart!  If it had been a quarter I might have gone for it. :-)

Another big influx of books at the Dollar Tree! Mostly paranormal and romantuc suspense. A bunch of authors I was unfamiliar with, but I scored with As Shadows Fade by Colleen Gleason.
