A pretty darn good ghost story, though not as scary as I was expecting (though for what it lacks in fright it more than makes up in gory detail). The ending, like a lot of Masterton, was a little rushed and lacked that last little memorable souvenir at the end, like you find with a lot of Stephen King and Peter Straub.
