I was wondering what part of the story that you ladies like.

What keeps me on the edge of my seat is when the H/H about to meet for the first time. I can't wait to find out what they think of each other.

What's your favorite?

When they realize they love the other person -- not always when they tell each other but the thought processes that bring them to that point. ... But when they tell them is good too -- sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, sometimes fighting it tooth and nail -- but always enjoyable.

Oh, Willa that's good. Especially if it's for a really good reason and it's hard to imagine how things can possibly work out.

When they make some big resolution that they aren't going to do something - like see or be alone with this person again - and then they do it anyway:P

For me, I think the reason I like to read romance is because I know there will be a happy ending.  That's why I don't like to read horror, it doesn't scare me but I don't care for the unsettling endings.  I want the main character to be happy at the end!

The first time they have a "moment" together...whether its a passionate kiss or just a shared look into each other's eyes....

Also love the HEA too.  ;-)

I like it when they become friends. When they joke and tease eachother, maybe do foolish things they wouldn't have imagined themselves doing.

All of the above, but mostly the part where they realize they can't live without each other.

The first time they have sex, of course.  And I start to get pissed if it doesn't happen by the time I'm 1/2 way through with the book.  If not, it had better be a damn good book or I start to lose interest.

I love the first kiss.  I guess because I've been married for so long.  DH and I are out of "firsts" for the most part.  Our 1st kiss was 17 yrs ago.

My very favorite is when the H realizes he is crazy nuts in love with the h and  becomes over the top protective/devoted.  I really really like how JR Ward did this with her Black Dagger guys.  The are super alpha dangerous bad boys, yet are gentle, full focus lovers with their women.
