This is a German writer and this book was published in German in 2014 then published in the UK in 2021
The story is unusual but it kept me reading to the end
In the last 100 pages is when you'll learn the 'secret' and the culprit and I didn't guess it at all
Then comes the second surprise that I didn't see coming either
Now, when you think the book ends? it doesn't--instead it has a section 'about this book and thanks', read it or don't it won't matter BUT after that is the epilogue and that you do want to read as it gives the answer to the prologue of the book
